ABOUT MATT
Matt is a college hockey reporter for the Duluth News Tribune in Duluth, Minnesota. He covers the University of Minnesota Duluth NCAA Division I men's and women's hockey programs, as well as the National Collegiate Hockey Conference and Western Collegiate Hockey Association. He also co-hosts a weekly podcast in season called Bulldog Insider.

Prior to coming to Duluth in 2014, Matt covered Northern Michigan University's NCAA Division I men's hockey program in Marquette, Michigan, dating back to the 2003-04 season.
​
Matt also has experience covering the National Hockey League and National Football League, as well as junior hockey, running and high school sports.
